Last 2 days Bunny has been having severe toothache and so sleep has been a little disturbed! Nevertheless, I got up well ahead of time as I could attend the bootcamp today from start, it being Bunny's holiday! Was the first one to hit the ground at 5.35 am! 2.5 km of run and some strength training before we broke down to celebrate the much awaited TSK25 completion and to hear the success stories!!...and no celebration is complete without cake and food! So, there was a home-made cake by a home baker, khatu ka peda, the world famous "Rawat ki pyaz kachori", tea to top it up and home made chocolates, too!! We ate guilt-free because we all not just deserved it, we all very well earned it!!
I was in two minds about going to the gym but then realized doing something was better than nothing and so headed to the gym and did some quick recovery session of about 35 minutes! The last 2 days of recovery sessions have been helping me a lot. While the other 25 kms are still yelping in pain, I am feeling much better and my not-so sore muscles are thanking me for the stretches!
Day 116!
5.15 am: A glass of water + 1 banana
5.45-6.45 am: 2.5 km run and strength training
7-8 am: Celebrations with lots of food and lots of fun!
8.05-8.40 am: Recovery at gym
8.45 am: A scoop of why protein
9.30 am: Beetroot, amla, carrot juice + 4 badam
10.30 am: Christmas fruit cake brought by a colleague
1.45 pm: 3 thin phulkas, yellow moong dal, bhindi
4 pm: Sauteed paneer + 1 black tea
7.30 pm: Rice, green moong dal, tempeh, salad+ 1 gond ladoo
3 litres of water, 13600 steps and off to bed on time!
