Day 221!

A beautiful weather and what a joy to train in the same! 4 km of interval run, followed by 30 minutes of strength training! Skipped gym so as not to over train!

8.45 am: Smoothie of 40 gm oats, 1 spoon curd, 1 scoop plant protein, 1 kothali kela, black raisins and flax seed

9 am: Tea

11.15 am: Nuts

12.45 pm: Rice, moong dal, aloo gobi

2.15 pm: Kalakand

4.30 pm: Black coffee

6 pm: Sprouts

10 pm: Rice, dal, baigan bharta

15000 steps, 2 litres of water and off to bed little late!

Day 220!

 I decided to take it as a 'Rest day; and slept longer which I am never able to, even if I feel like it! Felt extremely relaxed after a long time!

10.45 am: 2 vegetable sandwiches+ tea

1.15 pm: 1 Pista chocolate

2.15 pm: Luchi, dal

5.30 pm: Tea

8 pm: Vegetable seviyan, 1 bowl chana dal

9 pm: Indulged in 2 spoons ice cream and a pista chocolate

No walking. less water and lots of web series! Voted today- calls for celebration!

A good on-ground training with 3 km run including ramp run followed by strength training!

2.15 pm: 1 bowl green moong dal, bhindi, paneer

2.45 pm: 1 ragi cookie, 1 heathy laddoo

4.30 pm: Samosa

6.30 pm: Tea

8.30 pm: Khitchdi, cabbage, rice, aloo

18,300 steps, 2 litres of water and very late to bed!

Planned recovery and hence skipped running and went for a 7 km walk, followed by 55 minutes of upper body at the gym!

1 pm: Slice of birthday cake

4.30 pm: Black coffee

6.45 pm: Double egg roll

Day for a long run and the weather supported it. So, a strong 11 kms turning it into a superb day!

9.30 pm: Rice, lal saag, soyabean curry, monte karlo

21000 steps, 2.5 litres of water and off to bed on time!

Day 216!

It was Bunny's last school and despite being a Saturday, i recahed ground late after dropping her at bus stop. So, 30 minutes of yoga followed by a birthday treat!

8-8.30 am: Recovery (gym)

10 am: Kachori, sabji, a bite of jalebi, tea

3 pm: Rice, yellow moong dal, toru sabji, dahi, salad

5.30 pm: Tea

7.30 pm: Lassi, 1 biscuit

9.30 pm: Rice, aloo matar, aloo gobi

8,100 steps, 2 litres of water and off to bed on time!

A 3 km run in super humid run which made 3 km seem like 30! A 55 minute SBD session and was done for the day!

A good 30 minute workout on the ground followed by an hour long 'leg day' at the gym! Legs were crying but heart was full!

Crazy humidity and though I planned a 5 km run, had to stop at 4! But still a good run followed by a good workout at the gym! Happy self!

Got up fresh - thanks to the rest day! Went for a 20 minute on-ground 'legs' workout followed by 55 minutes of 'Upper body' at the gym! Felt better, worked out better!

I had been continuously training and was suggested to take a day off to rest my muscles and so called it a 'Rest Day'.

It was the day of Hyrox style LSom and left home at 4.30 am to participate in the event. Crazily humid but attempt to karna hi tha. I had signed up for Beginners but ended up completing Intermediate! So much fun! Waiting for more such events!

5-6.30 am: 10.5 km run + 8 functional workouts

6.30 am: 1 banana, 2 idli, sambar chutney_ some sprouts

8.30 am: Smoothie of 40 gm oats, 1 scoop plant protein, 1 kothali kela, chia and flax seed

9 am: Tea

12 noon: 1 vegetable sandwich+tea

3 pm: Rice, paneer, aloo parwal sabji +mithai

6.30 pm: Tea

9 pm: 2 phulka, rice, aloo beans, aloo dum

20000 steps, 2.5 litres of water and off to bed on time!

I had been dragging myself every single day and thought of taking it light today. So, went for 30 minute on ground training session and skipped the gym for the day! Had a chai adda sessions with running mates and simply relaxed!

6 pm; Tea + 2 suhali

8.30 pm: 1/2 phulka, dal, bhindi, beans

2 litres of water, less walk and off to be don time!

A good 5 km run though the weather was extremely humid! This was followed by an hour of SBD at the gym! An active morning and a happy self!

A fresh morning with better energy levels. Went for 30 minutes of strength training on the ground followed by an hour of leg day at the gym! Good workout, awesome satisfaction!

Got up very early despite school being closed and so planned an early run. Ran for 4.5 kms and had to rush back home as Bunny had fallen from the bed. Gym missed but I guess a good thing given my health.

7 am:2 sips of tea (because of the cold)

8 am: 2 sips of tea+muri

It was Bunny's holiday and so I hit the ground. 2.18 km run followed by an hour of drills with equipment. Given my health, I decided to skip gym.

9.30 am: Smoothie of 40 gm oats, 1 scoop plant protein, 1 kothali kela, chia and pumpkin seeds, curd

4.15 pm: black coffee+ 20 gm protein Yogabar

8 pm: Pot party

11,200 steps,1.5 litres of water and off to bed early!

Day 204!

Still struggling with cold and cough and body was giving up. Hence, decided to take a break from LSD on sunday. Also had to drop mom to the airport early morning and so took it easy. Dragged through the day and ate what I felt like. Broke rules but could not help it. Restarted on Monday and back on track!

Was feeling unwell and slept off early!

Saturday began with a 2.5 km run and an hour of ground training followed by an hour of Muscle endurance at the gym! A good start to the day!

2.30 pm: Dal, chawal, aloo bharta

4 pm: Tea+ 2 suhali

7.30 am: Tea

9 pm: 2 roti, pakodi kadhi and aloo sabji

Lots of chit chat at my aunt's place and off to bed on time!

I have been feeling very unwell since last couple of days. Got up feeling very unwell but pushed myself and managed a 3 km run with an hour of 'leg day' at the gym. I am glad I trained!

Kolkata has been experiencing the most amazing weather and a run in this weather is any runner's dream! Unplanned 5 km run but extremely refreshing! 50 minutes of gym post that and energized to the core!

Beautiful morning after the rain and an amazing 5 km run! Thoroughly enjoyed every km and felt truly rejuvenated after the run!

It was a wish come true to be able to attend Ved's birthday and what an evening it was. Running behind the little one, enjoying every little cute moment with him - it was truly endearing! Wishing for many more such evenings to come!

An active day with 2.64 km of run at a good pace, 45-50 minutes of on ground training and then an hour of gym!

11.30 am: Kachori sabji, little jalebi, 1 slice malai toast+tea

3 pm: 2 wholewheat cookies

9 am: 1/2 phulka, mixed veg+1/2 bowl rawa

A cheat day through and through with very little protein!

Day 195!

It was a joy watching Bunny jumping and giggling at Edens- one of her many 'firsts'! With face painted, band on her wrist and the KKR flag in her hand, she looked like a perfect KKR fan! Little did she know that it was not a match against RCB - the team of her favourite Kohli! An outstanding experience with her joy and her happiness being covered in videos by her 'personal' videographer- and it was not me! I was lucky to win 2 IPL tickets along with the privilege of being video graphed capturing my and Bunn's IPL experience! Once in a lifetime experience! Waiting for such more to come our way!

Day 195!

6.30-7.10 am: 5 km run with negative splits

7.20-7.50 am: Recovery at the gym

9 am: Smoothie of 60 gm oats, 1 spoon curd, 1 scoop plant protein, 4-5 black raisins, 1 kothali kela, pumpkin, chia and flaxseed + Tea

11.30 am: 25 gm chana and black coffee

3 pm: Rice. yellow moong dal, aloo pyaz

5.30 pm: 2 boiled eggs

8 pm: 2 slice pizza

Missed the Hanuman Jayanti celebrations at the clan but joined the training later. 20 minutes of workout followed by 50 minutes of muscle endurance training at the gym later- a moderate activity day!
